GRAPHIC DESIGN

I designed the graphics and wayfinding for this exhibit for Pfizer Nutrition, a division newly acquired in the companies’ merger with Wyeth. Because the main focus of the exhibition is infant nutrition, I created a graphic of flowing milk and incorporated this continuous motif into the background. This creates a visual link between each of the panels and the wayfinding system.

The visual challenge was to distinguish the sections of the exhibition (ferry, horses, Brooklyn Bridge) that all overlapped in time periods, and working within a decommissioned subway station. We were provided with 40 pages of thumbnail images and text to transform into an exhibition. Our solution was to separate the sections by a detail from a relevant postcard, and for the title, emulate the fonts used in the ticket to that mode of transportation.
