ABOUT
Johanna Goldfeld Design specializes in graphic and exhibition design that educates and inspires. For over a decade we’ve helped museums, cultural organizations, and businesses visually communicate their stories.

Our specialty is turning vast amounts of information, images, and art, into clear, accessible, and visually appealing displays and publications to engage and impress your visitors and constituents. As one of our clients always says… “we can turn water into wine!”

We can blend into your team, and with a robust network of experts, can offer the benefits of working with a full-service design firm. We believe in not only sticking to a budget, but finding sustainable design solutions that make sense for you. We have a nimble managerial approach, and keen eye for detail (watch out, we catch typos!). Our clear and consistent communication, coupled with our mastery of production techniques enable us to deliver stellar projects on time and in-budget.

CLIENT STORIES
Bonnie Kirschstein, Managing Director
The Forbes Galleries
...She continues to figure out new and exciting ways to marry the content of a given exhibit with the graphic scheme so that they speak to each other seamlessly.... her managerial skills, in combination with her curatorial background and lovely demeanor make her a true asset to our team.
Sandra Shahinian Leitner
St Vartan Armenian Cathedral
Johanna was so very helpful in coaching our team; we were passionate about our subject matter, but had little experience in curating an exhibition....She also grasped the sacred nature of the project while applying her artistic sensibility...Her skills extend beyond the visual and technical abilities of a designer.
TEACHING

Johanna Goldfeld teaches Graphic Design classes at the City University of New York including Graphic Design Fundamentals, Adobe Indesign and Photoshop, Branding, Information Design, and Exhibit Design.
Miles C., Student
Intro to Graphic Design
I feel strongly that I learned more in this class than any other. I was scared of dealing with the new computer program but was made to feel comfortable with it. I never knew how just type alone could make things look nice.
Tami B., Student
Information Design
Professor Goldfeld's strength would be her bright and vivid persona, and patience with all of us. She help her students, is understanding, and always comes to class with a smile on her face.
Rebecca C., Student
Branding
I learned how to incorporate my design into an exhibition setting. The instructor plans out each class lecture and project very thoroughly. Her critiques have helped me improve my design and improve the professionalism of my presentations.
