ABOUT

Johanna Goldfeld Design specializes in graphic and exhibition design that educates and inspires. For over a decade we’ve helped museums, cultural organizations, and businesses visually communicate their stories.

Our specialty is turning vast amounts of information, images, and art, into clear, accessible, and visually appealing displays and publications to engage and impress your visitors and constituents. As one of our clients always says… “we can turn water into wine!”

We can blend into your team, and with a robust network of experts, can offer the benefits of working with a full-service design firm. We believe in not only sticking to a budget, but finding sustainable design solutions that make sense for you. We have a nimble managerial approach, and keen eye for detail (watch out, we catch typos!). Our clear and consistent communication, coupled with our mastery of production techniques enable us to deliver stellar projects on time and in-budget.

A native New Yorker, Johanna Goldfeld began her career on the curatorial side which gave her a strong foundation in content development, exhibition production and collections management. Since 2016, she has been an adjunct instructor at Citytech, CUNY, teaching classes on branding, typography, and infographics as well as senior level portfolio. Johanna holds an M.A in Graphic and Exhibition Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a B.A in art history from New York University, and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Vectorworks. She is a member of the American Association of Museums and Art Table.

Johanna Goldfeld Design is a certified NYC Woman-Owned Business

Intro to Graphic Design

I feel strongly that I learned more in this class than any other. I was scared of dealing with the new computer program but was made to feel comfortable with it. I never knew how just type alone could make things look nice.

Tami B., Student
